Covered Bridge Painted
Before and after of covered bridge that kids fish off of.
The covered bridge was a joint effort between the city and Friends of Mantorville
This bridge has been in the park for a long time donated by Gaylord Harris
Rebuilt and secured after the flood of 2019. It needed some permanent siding, some landscaping and still is getting some beautiful iron railings that should be all in place by Marigold days.

About Friends of Mantorville
Friends of Mantorville started about 5-6 years ago when Brian Schwanke and some fellow neighbors, at that time, wanted to build a park for their kids to play in. This park is now called Dennison Park – out in the neighbor hood by the Zumbro Golf course. It now consists of a baseball field and playground equipment which is being installed this week. It will then be complete and we will start working on our next project. Some of these ideas are a future Frisbee golf course, pickle ball courts, new basketball courts, kayak launch in park on river and possible development of somethings in Slingerland Park.
